This reminded me of “The Ipcress File,” except it isn’t Harry Palmer resisting brainwashing, it’s the Batman! He’s been sent on a “Cold War” mission to find out why the Green Lantern has defected. Instead, the Batman ends up facing the “Demolishment Technique,” a cruel mind-control method meant to drive men mad. Of course, Batman and the Green Lantern are really there to steal the secret of the brainwashing treatment. But will they succeed and escape back to the West?
