This digest-sized book reprinted the first six issues of the Incredible Hulk. However, instead of the original grey skin color that the Hulk began with, this uses the more traditional green. In these stories, the Hulk is less powerful but more cunning and ruthless (ala “Mr. Fixit”) than later versions.

I preferred the “Savage Hulk” with his child-like personality and super strength to the original “grey” Hulk. But these stories were still pretty entertaining. I especially liked the Tyrannus story and the Metal Master story.
